The Parish Council continues to provide a point of focus and offer of early support to anyone who has put their name down to host Ukrainian refugees or is considering doing so via the Homes for Ukraine Scheme (link below):

We have so far hosted 5 informal meetings and the next one is planned for
6pm – 7pm Wednesday 15th June 2022

This is with the aim of continuing to bringing together people in Burton Joyce who have registered for the the Homes for Ukraine scheme and to form a network of support and to explore jointly all that is involved in becoming a host. Social media is illustrating a clear need for such assistance.
