BURTON JOYCE VILLAGE CENTRE REFURBISHMENT
The Parish Council has commissioned a topographical survey to be carried out to establish the exact levels of the surface outside the row of shops on Main Street. DOG CONTROL ORDERS
The Parish Council resolved at its meeting in September to exclude dogs from the Grove and the Roberts Recreation Ground. Arrangements are now being made to enforce the exclusion order. A decision on the situation with regard to dogs at the Poplars Sports Ground is still to be approved by full Council.
ROBERTS RECREATION GROUND
Work will be undertaken during September to resurface the all-weather kick-about area in the Roberts Recreation Ground. The Autumn will also see the start of the third and final phase of the overall improvement programme which will provide additional play equipment, landscaping and improvements to the perimeter fence.
WIND TURBINE
Gedling Borough Council’s Planning Committee is to consider the application by STW to erect a single wind turbine on the edge of the village at its meeting on Wednesday 18th September.
